Our First Field Trip

So our program has all of these cool firls trips that you can sign up for, where the provide the transportation and everything, they set up tour guides at each place as well so we know what we are looking at. I will try to sound well educated and tell you little titbits about each place.

So our first trip was to Pisa! The leaning tower was very cool and we took TONS of pictures of us trying to hold it up and stuff! There was also a cathedral in Pisa that we visited, it was shaped like a dome, and a man came in a sang into different directions of the room and when the echos bounced around it sounded like 10 men were singing! That was pretty amazing, other than that I was just thrilled to be in a new country!! This trip was the first place where I could see how much history there is in these cities. It was amazing to see the details and architecture in all of the buildings, how everything was carved by hand, and just how old it all was!
